TAGBILARAN CITY – Department of Tourism’s sales campaign mantra, “Its’ more fun in the Philippines,” must have sunk in the citizens’ consciousness but also in the diplomatic world.

This developed as Vietnamese ambassador to the Philippines Nguyen Vu Tu told Bohol Gov. Edgardo Chatto that “it’s more fun in the Philippines but we’re looking forward for most fun in Bohol” during their exchange of pleasantries at the Governor’s mansion Thursday last week.

To sustain its motto; “One bloodstream, One Heart”, the Amora Clan will hold another reunion this coming May 20-21, 2011.

The first day will be spent for the Ecumenical Mass, parade, Clan meeting and evening socials. The venue will be at the Municipal Plaza of Candijay, Bohol.

The First Stirrings of Jayceeism in the community was felt late in 1951 when a group of CebuJaycees led by Eddie Dean, Tony Paulin and Manger Yrastorza tried to sell the idea to a group of young men in Tagbilaran. It might well have been the Ku Klux Klan, for all the group knew about the Jaycee movement.
